Project Duplication - Choosing what to include
Desired Capability: Project Duplication - missing items
Goal: when duplicating a project, would be good to also copy over the Attachments, such as Logo images we use, and also the customer contact.
Prompt me about what I want to include when I duplicate a project

Agree 100%, It is very frustrating when you can't duplicate your own project for a repeatable scope without major customization and the need to remember what needs updating. Blueprints aren't the answer. -

Suzanne BarrickmanItems that don't carry over when "duplicating" a project: Teamates, contribution %, Travel & expense items, notes, etc.
Option 1: Have everything on Project duplicate to the new Project
Option 2: Upon Duplicating, have a listing of 'Project Areas' popup and allow the user to select which items to duplicate to the new Project -

Suzanne BarrickmanNoticed when duplicating a Project and there are T&Cs 'excluded' on the orginal Project, only the T&Cs that are included are available on the duplicated project. All other T&Cs are gone and cannot be added back.
Also, the duplication does not copy over any adjustments that are made. -

MichaelOur organization duplicates projects for the purposes of reusing scope and the associated level of effort. I recently discovered (as designed) that the rate table copies over. If you have updated your rates and cost, they will not be updated in the duplicate thereby having incorrect sell and costs. It is a simple effort to update the duplicated project, but I am concerned my organization will not always remember to do that resulting in incorrect sell and costs.
Could I suggest that we can chose what fields are duplicated at an organizational level? -

Scott Cobb MergedWhen cloning a project give the ability to set the project overview details before completing the cloning of the project. This would prevent projects that are cloned having the same/similar name and will prevent editing the incorrect project.
